Wow. It's been a long time coming...we listed our home for sale in Aurora IL earlier this year as the first step to accepting a call from God...but there was a different plan. I've been asked questions like, "does God answer prayer..." And here is one of many examples that I have witnessed - God does answer prayer - for real.
The following clip is from my brother in Christ that will be living in our home with his amazing family for the foreseeable future. The new name for our old home was his idea...or possibly from Jesus, cause that's the way he rolls:
Because Emunah is Hebrew for faith...but not just intellectual faith as the Greek term “pistis” means:
Emunah means firmness, something or someone that is firm in their actions. When the Hebrew word emunah is translated as faith, misconceptions of its meaning occur. Faith is usually perceived as a knowing while the Hebrew emunah is a firm action. To have faith in God is not knowing that God exists or knowing that he will act, rather it is that the one with emunah will act with firmness toward God's will. "Emunah" is a Hebrew term in which the concept got lost within the Hellenized church - "emunah" was stripped of its meaning by the Greek pursuit to mentally transcend the term "belief", a.k.a, "faith." A person in the Hellenized church says, "I have faith... I believe in God." Yet the fruit thereof is nearly non-existent or non-existent altogether - their "faith" is nothing more than a mental transcendence of the idea, not a living out of the idea. The concept of faith in Hebrew, which is "emunah," is FAR more than a mental exercise. Emunah is a working, living, and active trust in God - emunah demonstrates one's trust and belief in God by everything one DOES, not says or thinks.
